Yes, all coverages are available for online application.

No. Both the Event Liability Insurance Program and the Non-Profit Community Group Insurance Program only offer coverage inside Canada.

Our system will display a summary of your application. If the application is accurate, your quote will be available for review and will also be printable at this point. Once you have accepted the quote, you will be provided with a choice of ways to pay including our credit card payment option.

For direct customers, payment is accepted by cheque or credit card.

If you are an approved “Sub-broker,” your client would make payment arrangements directly with you. As a Sub-broker, you would login to the Event Liability Insurance/Non-Profit Community Insurance portal and apply for insurance on behalf of your client. Once a policy is accepted and bound for your client, the online portal will automatically bill your brokerage. Please pay this invoice through your preferred method of Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) or cheque. Payment instructions will come with your invoice.

If you pay online with a credit card, a link with be made available on the portal for you to download your policy documents. A further email will be sent that includes your policy documents via email. If requested, we can send a copy to an “Additional Insured” on your behalf at no additional cost. We will require an email address for the Additional Insured to provide this service. Policy documents can be mailed to you upon request.

Minimum premiums are in some cases as low as $25 (plus a $50 policy administration fee).

If you are organizing events, and/or activities, that are outside of the standard activities you have been insured for with your commercial insurers or your personal insurance coverage, you will most likely need additional special event coverage. One example would be if you are involved in a not-for-profit organization that raises awareness for autism within your community and once a year your group organizes a “Fun Fair for Autism Day” which includes rides, games, pony rides, etc. For this one-day event, you will require further special event coverage since this is typically a higher risk than your day-to-day administration of “Awareness for Autism.”
